So, what’s it like working with you?

Pretty easy, I hope! I love to hear about the new and exciting things that my clients are doing, and do my best to help them achieve their dreams. When it comes to getting down to business, I’m all about delivering beautiful results! If you’re looking for someone who is efficient, professional, and meets deadlines, then I’m your gal.

Having worked in the corporate world and run my own businesses, I know that having someone you can count on to deliver on their word is critical to success. I strive to make sure the my clients are thrilled with their results – and the amount of time it takes. For this reason, I ask that you also be focused on providing prompt communication and feedback, so we can bring your brand design to the next level as soon as possible!

I’m ready to get fancy! What should I do?

Submit a request with the details of your project here. We’ll schedule a complimentary consultation where we can get some literal or virtual face time. This is where I get to learn about your vision and see where you are in the branding/design process. This meeting also helps us see if we’re a good fit; the more I “get” your vision, the better I can help you achieve it!

After the meeting, if we decide that this is a match made in heaven, then I will send you a detailed proposal that outlines the scope and terms of the project, each party’s responsibilities, the schedule of deliverables, and a breakdown of the estimated costs based on the projected timeline.

What is your payment policy?

Once we’ve both agreed on the proposal, I will send you an invoice for the estimated project cost. I require a 50% deposit to confirm the project. The remainder will be due prior to the final handover. I don’t like to be nickel-and-dimed and try not to do it to my clients. My terms are set up to be as fair as possible for both parties and you may ask me about them during the proposal process.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel any time before the security deposit is placed. If you cancel after the deposit is placed, you will be pro-rated based on the amount of time that has already gone in to the project.

For example, for a 14-day project for $1000, if you cancel 4 days into the project, you would pay $286, and be refunded $214 of your deposit. If you cancel 10 days into your project, the total amount paid would be $714, so you would pay an additional $214 on top of your deposit. Phew, feels like being back in math class!

What is your postponement policy?

We get it – things happen! If you need to postpone your project, we would treat it as a cancellation and the same policy would apply (see above). To reinitiate a postponed project, just drop us an email and we’ll send you a revised proposal that reflects the remaining work.

How long will the entire design process take?

In general, logo design, mood boards, and client profiles should take roughly 1 week. A standard website design should take between 2-3 weeks. More complex designs or e-commerce websites will vary on a case-by-case basis. All estimates assume that I receive your feedback within 1-2 days.

I try my utmost be as close to my estimated timeline and cost estimates as possible (no one likes it when their project drags on or springs up with unexpected costs). This is no guarantee, but as I am committing to make your project my priority, I also ask for the same diligence and responsiveness on your end to minimize lag times and revisions, which ultimately delay your project.

What is parallax scrolling and do I have to have it?

Parallax scrolling is a beautiful effect where the text appears to float on a background image and the image appears to move as you scroll. It’s basically what you see on the homepage of the Creative Fancy website. Because of its dynamic design, parallax scrolling has become extremely popular. Of course, it’s completely up to you – you certainly don’t have to have it on your own website!
